Vreng magazine is a social, political commentary on contemporary issues and is published by Adbusters, Norway.
The sixth and last issue investigated oil in Norway and the social and environmental implications of its 30-year history. To juxtapose the editorial content, we focused specifically on the social welfare that came from Norway’s oil and gas industry. We selected one random person that was born at the time when oil was discovered in Norway and got access to her private photo albums. From this material, we created a photographic timeline of the life of a person growing up in this new era of oil and prosperity in Norway.
